The award-winning film is set to hit theaters nationwide this summer.
(YourDigitalWall Editorial): – Polson, Montana Jun 24, 2021 (Issuewire.com) – (Montana) Nova Vento Entertainment has acquired the film rights to award-winning drama Skipping Stones starring Nathaniel Ansbach, Gabrielle Kalomiris and Michael Ironside is an unlikely role for the villain often cited. With release slated for August 6, Nova Vento is thrilled to partner with international sales and distribution company Glass House Distribution and Dreamality Entertainment to bring such an impactful film to audiences.
âThis is a truly magnificent and gripping film that will stay with you long after the credits roll,â said Eden Bryant, CEO of Nova Vento Entertainment. âThe topics are hard-hitting and powerful, but also a much needed conversation for a generation struggling with its place in this world. “
Almost a decade after a tragic accident claimed the life of a young man, his sister and best friend are still removing the layers of grief and guilt that come with being left behind. David (Ansbach) has returned to his small town to try and sort out the decisions he needs to make in order to move on to the next part of his life. Meanwhile, Amanda (Kalomiris) who remained in their small town, was also unable to move forward. Feeling trapped under the weight of her parents’ grief, she also cannot escape the stigma that binds her to the tragedy that has gripped their small town. Skipping Stones explores the layers and depths of grief that accompany healing after a life-changing disaster.
Director SJ Creazzo said, âIn producing and directing Skipping Stones, I couldn’t have imagined the impact the film was going to have. From working with Rich Cirillo, the screenwriter, to discovering the talented and passionate Gabrielle Kalomiris and Nathaniel Ansbach, and to working with legend Michael Ironside, as well as Patricia Charbonneau, Chase Masterson and Daniel Hugh Kelly, I feel deeply blessed to be the person who will bring this incredible story of forgiveness to life.
âI fell in love with it the moment I first screened it. We are proud to help bring this topical film to audiences around the world, âsaid Tom Malloy, President of Glass House Distribution.
